Dream Job Update....

I GOT IT. Thanks for all who thought of me, rooted for me, believed in me. I stressed for so long I'm unsure what to do with this new feeling: disbelief, relief, joy. All the times I talked about it (here, here, here, here, here, here, oh and here) thanks for reading and not throwing a jug at the screen telling me to QUIT IT (or perhaps you did. If so, I am deeply apologetic). Alhamdullilah.

Surviving, BeeAmma, Mystic, Huda, Baji, Mezba, THANK YOU :) Couldntve done it without you guys! seriously.

Mezba, I dont have a cast, its called a boot? or something like that. Its like an exterior cast. Luckily my break wasn't too bad so its not a big one. I ended up wearing the boot on one foot and black flat penny loafer like shoe on the other. They didnt even notice which is the funniest thing :)

Huda aww thanks! That sounds like fun! :) Btw your comments are still down? Icnase you're wondering who it is reloading consntantly!!

Komal, thank you so much! :) and thanks for commenting!

Nermeen thank you, you are a 2L right? I guess you have a little respite before the job hunt begins :)

William, Rehtwo, thanks :0)

Rasha thanks:) The project I designed has three parts 1)legal representation 2)education 3) advocacy. This is all on behalf of low income chronically ill children who have problems accessing education services they have the right to. I will be representing these children by suing school boards and negotiating for better services for particular children, educating parents and community members on the rights that chronically ll children have and will be advocating for better policies in the counties to help them. Its a two year fellowship but the goal is at the end of the two years the project will be sustained through independent funds or picked up by a law firm who will make it their pro bono "baby".. whether I am behind the reigns or not. :)
