You know you've watched one too many episodes of "The Wire" when. . .

You glance out the window, see your new front-door neighbor perched on a ladder installing something above his door and your first instinct is oh dear God he's installing a camera. He's a drug kingpin. But we live here because of low crime! Ah, but wouldn't that be the perfect place to work from? Where they'd never suspect you'd be?! Sigh. The DEA will be swarming this place in weeks.

When in actuality he's putting up Christmas lights. Yep- oh well.

LOOOOL!

This happened to me with 24. My dad called during one of the episodes and my first thought was 'OMG, HE KNOWS!!!!' What exactly he was not supposed to know, I had no idea. But I did ask my husband 'What do I do? Should I answer or not? WHAT DO I DO?' And that was when we realised we spent too much time with Jack Bauer.

Heh, the hubster and I watched the entire series in days because it was so good. Now every time I see someone using a cell phone, I think, "Is that burner?" :)
