This here life

Bobina: So you only have one child?
Me: I have two, my other son is at home.
Bobina: Oh! Nice! How old is he?
Me: He's two months old.
Bobina: Oh wow! You look good then, for having just had a baby!

Quick rule of thumb, when uttering the phrase: you look good, just add a period and stop. For the love of all that is holy and conducive to a post-partum mother wearing yoga pants religiously like it was declared the national uniform, the first three words? Are all she needs to hear.

Yes. I agree. "You look good" is all any of us need or want to hear. (For me, it's usually followed by "...for your age.")

You think it would work better if we made that a t-shirt to go with the yoga pants? :-)

Lol, I agree. And Mina's t-shirt idea is probably the way to go ;-)

Julia, Mina, Natalie, glad y'all can relate! And yes, that t-shirt along with my yoga pants would be my "uniform" for sure.
